Fr Stash Dailey

SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR

Fr Stash Dailey was ordained a priest in 2008 for the Diocese of Columbus. A native of Columbus, Fr Dailey attended St Francis DeSales high school, the Pontifical College Josephinum and Mount St Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD.

A regular retreat master and preacher, Fr Dailey has spoken across the country on the devotion to the Sacred Heart and a revival of the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart in the Christian home.

Fr Dailey has been stationed at St Michael the Archangel Church, Immaculate Conception in Kenton and at present is assigned as pastor at Holy Family.

Fr Dailey has been Administrator of Holy Family Parish since July, 2013. Fr. Dailey is Spiritual Director of Sacred Heart Columbus and the Sacred Heart Enthronement Network, a consultor for several men’s and women’s religious congregations and serves as a retreat director and confessor for some of these same communities. He has had the privilege to assist over 300 households in the Columbus area in their own Enthronement of the Sacred Heart.
Bishop Robert Brennan (Bishop of Columbus Diocese) recently appointed Father Stash Dailey Vicar for Religious. Father Stash will work with me (Bishop Brennan) to ensure constant communications with members of religious orders and congregations in our Diocese, and also to identify and engage in dialogue with additional men’s and women’s religious orders that we believe would flourish in our Diocese.

Judy Schlueter

FOUNDRESS/ MINISTRY GRANDMOTHER:

Judy Schlueter A.M. MAPC, R.N. LPC

Judy Schlueter married Bernie Schlueter 56 years ago and they have been abundantly blessed with 8 children and 51 grandchildren.  They happily reside in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by their very large and grand family.

Before retiring from active service, Judy received her education and RN in Nursing from Mayo Clinic, St. Mary’s Hospital Rochester, Minn.  She earned her M.A. from Ashland University in Pastoral Counseling.  She then embraced a saturation process with 6 years of required and voluntary credits in Catholic Theology from the Pontifical College Josephinum.  Judy specialized in Adolescent Pregnancy and later was Certified in Youth Ministry from Cardinal Stritch College, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  As a licensed Pastoral Counselor, she practiced for 20 years at Directions Counseling Group in Worthington, Ohio.

In 1973, in Oshkosh Wisconsin, Judy became proactively involved both politically and pastorally in Pro-Life issues in response to Roe Vs. Wade through outreach, adolescent support and an Educator of Lamaze Childbirth.    She was very active in the PRO-LIFE movement throughout the State of Wisconsin continuing in this effort as the family moved to Ohio in 1984.

In 1994, Fr Carlton Jones O.P. with Msgr. Thomas Olmsted (Pontifical College of Josephinum Rector); now Bishop Thomas Olmsted of Phoenix, Az., approached Judy and asked that she take the lead in forming a pastoral ministry for those women suffering the aftermath of abortion.  It was in this context that the charism of the founding ministry was called to serve in the ‘Shadow of the Sacramental Priesthood”.

Through inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Judy responded by authoring: “an experience of hope, A Guidebook for Healing ©.” It has been humbling to note the graces of God’s healing mercy experienced through spirit filled facilitators touching hearts and lives of women, men and families through the Guidebook.

In 2017, through the grace of the Holy Spirit, Judy was again invited to participate with Francine Kempf under the spiritual blessing of Fr Stash Daily to form a new ministry to encompass a broader group of hurting women.  “an experience of hope” was formed and charged with serving not only women suffering from the aftermath of abortion, but also HIS beloved daughters who struggle because of shattered dreams, hopes, safety, trust and love.  They come to us from prison, their cars, from the street, from penthouses and from the suburbs.  They carry with them abuse, loneliness and rejection and as all sorrowful women they unite in their poverty of spirit.  This ministry continues the original mandate to serve in the shadow of the Sacramental Priesthood.

FOUNDRESS:

Francine Kempf is a native of the Diocese of Columbus.

In 1992, she joined Judy Schlueter in forming a post abortion healing ministry in Columbus. She was involved in the ministry for many years.  During that time, she also did sidewalk counseling and prayer outside the abortion facilities.

She currently serves the needy in various capacities and has a heart to reach out in love to women who have been wounded by the culture through isolation, loss of family support, abuse, fear and shame.

Fran is a parishioner of Holy Family Church and is involved in the work of the soup kitchen.  She organizes a time of education and prayer for the guests who come to dine.  All the guests are welcome to attend a presentation of a Catholic Educational DVD followed by Eucharistic Adoration every Wednesday morning.  To have the opportunity to serve God's people of the westside in this way is a blessing to her.

In 2017, Father Stash Daily, Judy Schlueter and Fran Kempf redefined the ministry “An Experience of Hope” to include along with women who have been wounded, those women who have experienced abortion of dreams, hopes, safety, trust and love.  Women who carry with them abuse, loneliness and rejection.

Fr. Dailey also founded Casa Maria, a house of hope and healing and is a home for An Experience of Hope ministry bi-monthly gatherings. Fran resides at this home and she invites and welcomes women looking for a safe and peaceful home where they come to find Jesus through friendship and loving community.

Chris & Beth Deibel

SUPPORT STAFF:

Chris and Beth Deibel have been married for 40 years and have three adult children and one granddaughter.  They have been active members of St. Matthew Church since 1990.  Their involvement included Eucharistic ministers, RCIA sponsors and serving on the Finance Board.  Chris currently serves on Board of Trustees at Friendship Village of Columbus.

Their ministry service is predominately in the field of marriage.  God brought them into the ministry of Worldwide Marriage Encounter (WWME) in 1997 where they became a presenting team for 8 years.  During those years they served as Weekend Facility Coordinators, Coordinated the first Hispanic WWME weekend in Columbus and Coordinated a Regional Convention for WWME in Columbus.  In 2004 God called Beth to open their home to facilitate Women’s Bible studies for the next 5 years. Through God’s Holy Word and forgiving mercy He nudged Beth into a 16week Inner healing program by Terry Wardle to address some very painful situations from her past.  All of this prepared them both to become support Staff of An Experience of Hope Ministry.
